Friends of Fulford Place and the Ontario Heritage Trust is pleased to host the 4th Annual Juried Fine Art Show and Exhibition Fundraiser. The show will open Friday, May 1 at 5 pm and will continue on Saturday, May 2 & Sunday, May 3, 2026. The location will be within the historic Fulford Place Museum, 287 King Street East, Brockville, Ontario. Registrations will close on April 15 , 2026.

RULES OF ENTRY
Please note: All entries will be juried online and must be submitted as such, no exceptions
Acceptable Media:
Two dimensional artwork only in: Oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, ink, pencil, charcoal, mixed media and collage. (The use of photographic images is acceptable in mixed media)
Unacceptable Media: Photography, Computer generated art, textile and fabric art
Artwork SpecificationsIncluding the frame:
Minimum size is 12″ x 12″, maximum size is 36” x 36”
Diptychs and Triptychs will be accepted as one entry and must adhere to the total minimum and/or total maximum required dimensions as stated above. IE. 2 paintings must not be less than 12” x 12” or more than 36” x 36”.
OriginalityAll submitted work must have been completed within the last 3 years.
All artwork must be original and without the assistance of instruction.
No copies from other artists or from published material, including stock photography, no reproductions or derivatives. All artwork and reference material, including photographs, must be the original work of the artist and may be requested by jurors.
No repeat entries, please do not submit entries from previous years.
Works received, after acceptance that do not match the submitted digital image or meet the expectations and standards of the show, will not be hung or displayed.
All paintings must be dry to the touch.
Hanging, Mounting and Framing: All work must be ready to hang with proper wiring and D-rings only. No saw tooth hangers. We will not accept work that is not ready to hang.
We welcome framed and unframed works. If the work is designed to hang unframed, the sides must be painted for a tailored, finished look. If glazing is used, plexiglass is preferred.
There will be no matting limits and it is the responsibility of the Artist to submit entries in a coherent presentable unit.
Sale Price, Commission & Labeling:
There is no minimum or maximum sale price limit.
25% of the sale price will be deducted as commission to Friends of Fulford. No sales tax will be deducted from the proceeds to the Artist.
All accepted pieces must have a label with the artists name, title of work, medium and sale price adhered to the back when dropped off.
There will be no substitutions accepted
Sale price must match price noted in your submission
Representatives: The hanging Committee will reject any pieces that do not meet the requirements indicated in the Rules of Entry.

Information about artwork Image submissions:
* JPG or JPEG, 72 DPI, 1000 pixels along the longest side (or approximately 1MB)
* Ensure your images are high quality, clear, in focus, evenly lit, and cropped to artwork edges without a boarder.
* Title your image files with artists name, artwork title, dimension (H x W) use underscores to note spaces. Example: MarySmith_TitleofArtwork_24x24.jpg
Entry Fee Payment: The entry fee is $35 for the first piece and $10 for each additional piece for a total of 3 pieces ($55) payable by clicking on the link, provided on the artist application form.
The fee is non-refundable and is due upon submission of your digital images.
Sale of artwork: Artists whose work is sold during the exhibition will not receive payment until after the purchase payment has been cleared.
Payment for work sold will be via cheque either given to you at the show or mailed to you afterwards.
A friendly reminder that The Friends of Fulford Place retains a 25% commission on all sales.
Acceptance of Work: The jurors decisions are final and artists will be notified no later than April 26th by email.

Collection of Artwork End of Show:
All unsold artwork will remain on display until 3 pm Sunday May 4th with no exceptions.
Unsold artwork must be picked up after 3 pm to 4 pm on Sunday May 4th. We unfortunately are unable to keep any artwork beyond May 4th.
