Valerie is an award-winning Canadian landscape painter residing in the heart of southeastern Ontario. She has been painting most of her adult life and has been recognized for her realistic interpretations of the waterways and rock formations of the Canadian Shield. As an avid kayaker and outdoor enthusiast, she photographs the landscapes she explores to use as a reference in her home studio, where she thoughtfully applies acrylics on canvas.

Valerie has attained the prestigious, Elected Member status, from the Society of Canadian Artists. Her work can be found in personal collections across Canada, the United States and overseas.
