Bob Shackles - Painter | Bob is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour and the Society of Canadian Artists, working in oil, watercolour, and charcoal. He has exhibited in over 70 juried shows, earning awards including the Carl Schaeffer Award, and was featured in Plein Air Magazine. His work has been shown across Canada and he is represented by Summer and Grace Gallery. Bob teaches and leads workshops for artists through Arts Hub Brockville and regional groups.
Monique van Someren - Painter | Monique’s art is a celebration of nature’s beauty and the charm of everyday objects that often go unnoticed. She hopes her creations inspire viewers to take a moment to appreciate the wonders of the natural world and the little treasures surrounding us.
Eddie VanderBaaren - Potter | ‘For me, pottery and painting are journeys that reflect my emotions and perceptions of each day, guiding my hands intuitively. The final pieces, whether in clay or on canvas, often surprise me with their unexpected outcomes.’
Sylvia Shackles - Fabric Artist | Sylvia is known for her charming and colourful quilts. She selects interesting and vibrant fabric patterns to create eye-catching designs, blending artistry with functionality. Each of Sylvia's quilts is thoughtfully composed, featuring playful patterns and a lively palette that reflect her joyful, creative approach to fabric art
Monika Rosen - Painter | Monika Rosen is a Kingston-based figurative and landscape painter with an MFA from the New York Academy of Art and a BFA from Queen’s University. Working in oil, she explores themes of vulnerability, transformation, and connection through light and water. Her work has been shown in Canada, the US, and Europe, and is held in public and private collections. She teaches, illustrates, and sails Lake Ontario when not in her studio.

Sue Steele & Jann Smith - Potters | Sue Steele and Jann Smith, two passionate members of the Riverbank Pottery Studio, find constant challenge and excitement in their artistic growth. Jann particularly loves experimenting with a wide range of glaze colors and techniques, resulting in unique and stunning finishes on her pieces. Sue, on the other hand, has a special love for whimsical sculpture, often combining animals and creatures with traditional wheel throwing and handbuilding. No two of her pieces are the same; each has its own distinct personality. It's this continuous creative exploration that keeps both potters in the studio, always bringing new ideas to life.
Pat Markovich - Alcohol ink Artist | Pat is well known for her vibrant depictions of landscapes and florals. Using alcohol ink on small tiles, she creates dynamic compositions with flowing colours that capture the natural beauty of her subjects.
Rachel Legault - Painter | Rachel is a self taught artist that utilizes solely oil paints to craft pieces that evoke a sense of nostalgia in the viewer, transporting them to a cherished location or moment. She endeavors to fashion an immersive experience, drawing the observer into the canvas, inviting them to linger and indulge in the ambiance.
Judy Boyd - Boyd Bags | One of a kind…just like you. Judy has been handcrafting her signature Boyd Bags with love and care since 2019. Judy ensures that no two bags are ever the same. Each piece is thoughtfully designed using premium materials and timeless techniques resulting in bags that are as beautiful, dependable, and unique as the people who carry them.
Donna McPhail, painter | Donna is an artist with a background in textile design. She got her BFA in fine art and art education from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax and spent the next 30 years teaching high school art. After retirement she moved to Perth, joined some art groups and began painting; first on canvases, then on furniture. Her acrylic paintings feature flowers and fanciful fish and birds. She also paints designs on furniture using Fusion Mineral Paints. She is fascinated by patterns and colours and uses geometric shapes or patterns from nature in her work.
Solange Leman - Multi Media Artist | Solange crafts unique notebooks and art cards using handmade papers, bringing a personal, artisanal touch to each creation.
Larissa Sokolova - Fiber Artist | "Wearable Art". Larissa uses wet felting in her work. All crafted with environmentally friendly fibers such as wool, silk, linen, bamboo, etc. Unique handmade products that are wearable, comfortable, and bring joy to everyday life.
Donna Crooks, painter | Donna Crooks is a Brockville-based painter whose work captures the beauty and quiet character of the St. Lawrence region. Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, she creates expressive landscapes and nature-inspired pieces with a strong sense of colour and movement. Her paintings have been featured in local exhibitions and community art events. Crooks continues to develop her practice while actively contributing to the vibrant arts community in Brockville.
Kay Rhebergen, potter | Kay Rhebergen is a potter creating functional and decorative ceramics inspired by natural forms and everyday rituals. Working primarily on the wheel, she crafts pieces that balance simplicity, texture, and durability. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for materials and process, with each piece designed to be both beautiful and useful. Based in Ontario, Kay shares her work through local markets, exhibitions, and community-focused arts events.
Emily Mateyk, painter | Emily Mateyk is a painter living in rural Ontario near Ottawa, inspired by the natural world and the quiet rhythms of countryside life. A graduate of the University of Guelph Studio Art program, she works primarily in oil and printmaking, building on a strong foundation in traditional techniques. Her work has been featured in juried exhibitions and recognized with awards, including the 2016 Printmaking Prize. She continues to create part-time, drawing inspiration from local landscapes, gardens, and travel.
Eda Brown - Painter | Eda’s paintings create a sense of place at a particular moment in time. The use of vivid and vibrant colours with quick brush work brings the viewer into a place that can be uniquely their own.
Donna Plant, painter | Donna Plant is a Morrisburg, Ontario-based artist working in painting and mixed media. Inspired by the landscapes and quiet beauty of the St. Lawrence region, she creates expressive, nature-focused works that explore colour, light, and mood. Her practice reflects a deep connection to place and community.
