PAT MARKOVICH
Pat Markovich is a visual artist whose work reflects a lifelong connection to creativity, nature, and exploration. Trained as an engineer, Pat spent the majority of her career in senior executive roles across both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, applying her innovative thinking and problem-solving skills in dynamic and impactful ways. Now, she is embracing a new chapter—one where her creativity takes centre stage.
Working primarily in oil and alcohol ink, Pat’s art is inspired by the beauty of the natural world and the many adventures she has experienced at home and abroad. Her paintings often draw from vivid memories of her travels, outdoor excursions, and the ever-changing landscapes around her. A passionate gardener, she also finds joy in capturing the colours, textures, and spirit of the flowers she tends with care.
Pat lives just outside of Brockville, nestled along the majestic St. Lawrence River. Her surroundings continue to inspire her practice, offering a daily reminder of nature’s quiet power and boundless beauty. Through her work, she invites viewers to share in the sense of wonder that fuels her creative journey.
