A Night at the Gallery: And What a Night It Was!

Talk about an evening of enchantment and excitement!

Last night at Arts Hub Brockville, artists, art lovers, sponsors and donors engaged in a successful and memorable fundraiser for facility improvements at Arts Hub.

The evening began in the Main Hall, where 127 stunning pieces of art were displayed in a beautifully designed circular gallery. The layout, thoughtfully envisioned and executed by Bob Shackles and volunteers, transformed the space into an immersive visual experience. The beauty of the room was powerful! Using a catalogue as a guide, ticket holders viewed the art, making notes of their favourites that were numbered. Bios of the artists were also included.! Wine was sipped, delicious charcuterie enjoyed, as patrons socialized and compared notes. The atmosphere was friendly and exciting.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the local arts community, whose generous donations of time, talent, and creativity made this event possible. Their willingness to share their work with such spirit and generosity reflects the very heart of Brockville’s vibrant arts scene. Each piece contributed was not only a work of beauty but also an act of support for the future of Arts Hub Brockville. Learn more about the artists here:

ARTIST LIST

With piano by Christopher Cennon the mood was set, as guest host, Bruce Wylie, and Chris Coyea started the lottery magic. Names were pulled and those alerted declared the number of the art work they wanted as tension and anticipation mounted! Runners delivered the art, and on it went as excitement built, and art disappeared into the grateful hands of the Premium Ticket holders.

Smiles, laughter, and wonderful art. This was an arts community in action. Our volunteers from the community, with support from family and friends, helped this event happen. And we sincerely appreciate the support from the Brockville community who attended.

None of this success could have happened without our sponsors! Thank you to all sponsors and donors to the evening.
